SOUTHWESTERN PUEBLOS
& CLIFF DWELLINGS

This feature is of places I have been. Since I have no digital photos of them, I'm going to share others' with you. Not only was I born in Flagstaff, both sets of my grandparents lived in Arizona, and I went to college there. Add in the fact that both of my parents are archaeologists...and you get a lot of visits to Indian dwellings.

Unfortunately I was not able to find all of my favorite shots of these places. Maybe someday I'll go back and take digital photos (or my negatives will turn into good digital scans...but I don't have high hopes for that). I hope that you enjoy them.

Tuzigoot * Arizona

Wupatki * Arizona

Montezuma's Castle/Montezuma's Well * Arizona

Navajo National Monument (Keet Seel) * Arizona

Mesa Verde * Colorado

Walnut Canyon * Arizona

This is going to be my most simple journal ever...

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!

You're very welcome about the :+devwatch:! You live in one of my favorite cities! :) And I'm interested in hearing more about your Eastern travels!

You are particularly fond of Washington? I see you are from the opposite side of the country.

Yep! After San Francisco, Seattle is my favorite American city! Other than Chicago, Seattle is the only city that has modern architecture that I like (Benaroya, SAM, and the Seattle Public Library - I have a few Seattle pictures posted. Have a look! :D
I see that we both have a fondness for Gehry!

Richard, where is it that you call home? What is your job? Obviously you are able to travel for work. I can say honestly that I am not a fan of people photos (not yours in particular...just all), but I really love the way you capture architecture. Your style reminds me somewhat of my own. Therefore, I'm interested in seeing more and gave you a watch.
